How to Play Roulette
Players make wagers based on a ball that the dealer spins around a roulette wheel. If the ball lands on a color or number of the Player’s choosing, the Player wins.
The game of Roulette is popular in casinos around the world and is famous for its colorful spinning wheel, marked with colors and numbers, typically red and black. Players bet that a ball placed on the wheel will land on a red or black color or an odd or even number. Players may make multiple bets.
Play begins when each Player places a bet or bets on a numbered table layout. The dealer spins the ball in the opposite direction of the turning wheel. Bets only count when the ball completes three revolutions around the spinning wheel. Players may place wagers until the dealer announces that betting has ended by saying, “no more bets.”
Once the ball comes to rest on the wheel, the dealer makes payments to the winners. The wheel is comprised of colored and numbered slots in which the ball rests. The players may not remove bets or touch the wheel.
Before betting, players must purchase chips from the dealer. Each player’s chips are unique, and they can only be used at the table where they were purchased. Players who wish to cash in their chips must do so before leaving the table. They may not cash in roulette chips at any other roulette table or anyplace else in the Casino. Roulette chips do not have any value printed on them and players must cash in their roulette chips for value chips in order to redeem their cash winnings or place bets elsewhere in the Casino.
