2. Gamblers Anonymous
A 12-step support group for the compulsive gambler. Through Gamblers Anonymous, many have found the support and suggestions necessary to stop gambling and live healthy and happy lives. A support group for the spouse, family and friends of the problem gambler who may need help to cope with the emotional and financial stress associated with this disorder. 4. Professional Counseling
Trained therapists and addiction counselors can help gamblers to understand this addiction and develop new coping skills to deal with the stress of everyday living. Intensive outpatient programs, as well as inpatient and residential treatments, are also available.
Delaware State Law prohibits any person younger than 21 years of age to play or place wagers at or collect winnings from any slot machine. Dover Downs Hotel & Casino prohibits any person younger than 21 to enter the casino.
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino prohibits any person younger than 18 years of age to place wagers or collect winnings from the pari-mutuel clerks in simulcast or live horse racing. Responsible Alcohol Service
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino reserves the right to deny the service of alcoholic beverages to patrons who are, or who appear to be intoxicated. Delaware State Law prohibits the possession, purchase and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages to persons younger than 21 years of age.
Tobacco Products and Minors
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino prohibits the service or sale of any tobacco products to persons younger than 18 years of age.
Children age 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you choose to bring your children to Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, please make sure you are responsible and share in our efforts that no children are left unattended at any time. We care about your children and want to ensure their utmost safety.
Security will attempt to locate the parent or guardian of any child left unattended. If a parent or guardian is located, he or she will be advised of company policy and the child will be returned to his or her care and custody once the parent or guardian has presented proper identification.
Parents or guardians who do not comply with this policy will be required to leave the property. If a parent or guardian cannot be located within one hour, the Dover Police Department will be contacted and the child will be turned over to their care and custody. The Dover Police Department will determine whether to contact the Delaware Division of Youth and Family Services.
