Glenn Miller was among the most successful dance bandleaders in the Swing Era of the 1930s and '40s. The Glenn Miller Orchestra reached enormous success in the late 1930s, scoring multiple hit records and huge box office sales. The band continues to tour worldwide and has performed under the leadership of musical director Larry O'Brien since 1988.
