Spanish 21 is an exciting variation of the Blackjack game with various options; more fun an more ways to win.

Spanish 21 is played with Spanish Decks. A Spanish Deck consists of 47 cards; 2 – 9, J, Q, K and A. All the number “10” cards and Jokers are removed.

PLAYING SPANISH 21

The game of Spanish 21 is played like Blackjack with the following exceptions:

 Players Blackjack ALWAYS BEATS a dealer Blackjack – Paid 3 to 2.

 Players total of 21 ALWAYS BEATS a dealer total of 21 – Paid 1 to 1.  (Exception: a wager will lose if the player has 21 in more than 2 cards and the Dealer had Blackjack.) Certain player 21 totals result in Spanish 21 payouts (see payout schedule on the back.)

 Players Double Down once on 2 or more cards, including after splitting.

 Players can split cards of equal value including Aces up to three times (creating four hands.) Hitting and doubling down of split hands, including Aces, is allowed.

 Double Down Rescue – after doubling down, players may choose to rescue (take back) the Doubled portion of the bet and forfeit the original wager (except when they are over 21.)

 A player may surrender one-half of his wager on the first two cards and drop from the hand. If the dealer’s up card is a J, Q, K or Ace, the dealer must check for Blackjack, in no Blackjack, player may surrender. Players cannot surrender when the Dealer’s hand is Blackjack.

 Super Bonus – If a player’s first three cards are suited 7’s and the dealer’s card is any 7, that player wins a Super Bonus: $5.00 - $24.00 bet wins $1,000.00 and $25.00 and up bet wins $5,000.00. All other player at the table who placed a bet during that round of play will receive $50.00 ENVY BONUS. (Splitting and Doubling void a Super Bonus.)

MATCH THE DEALER

In addition to a regular bet, players may bet that either of their first two cards will numerically match the dealer’s up card. The Match-the-Dealer bet must be at least $1.00 and not more than the amount of the regular bet and must be placed prior to the first card being dealt for each round of play. Insurance bets do not apply to the Match-the-Dealer bet.
